As the Barangay Captain of Gun-ob, I want to recognize one of our barangay’s unsung heroes, Joel Batican, a dedicated driver of the BPSO.
Despite being a driver, Joel is a true multi-tasker who willingly takes on responsibilities beyond his job description. Recently, he helped install solar lamps in our barangay under the scorching sun—executed without hesitation or complaint, showing selflessness and tireless work ethic.
This Spotlight Saturday reminds us that praises aren’t only for high-ranking officials but also for the dedicated barangay employees who go above and beyond for Gun-obanons. Joel’s humility and hard work inspire us all.
