Demonstrating the spirit of unity and environmental responsibility, residents of Purok Kangkong / Sacred Heart gathered early this morning, July 15, 2026, at 6:00 AM, for a successful community Clean-Up Drive held near the residence of Sec. Julius Dela Serna.
The activity was led by OIC Sir Mauro Alam, together with Environmental Sanitation Department Secretary Marie Joei Gastil and the Monitoring Team. The initiative was made possible through the continued support of SWMB Chairperson Hon. Michael Bering and Barangay Captain Carl Weigel, who remain committed to promoting a cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable community.
The Barangay extends its sincere appreciation to all volunteers and residents who dedicated their time and effort to the clean-up activity. Their participation reflects the community’s shared commitment to maintaining a safe, clean, and pleasant environment for everyone.
Through collective action and bayanihan, Barangay Gun-ob continues to encourage every purok to take part in environmental programs that help build a greener and more disciplined community.
