GUN-OB NEWS UPDATE:
As the PIO of Barangay Gun-ob, I joined the residents of Purok Kangkong yesterday to witness their joy as Captain Carl Weigel provided them with a solar lamp (S/N 24051). This new light now illuminates their previously dim meeting area, bringing comfort and safety to their gatherings.
Present during the installation were PKUPA Officers:
• President Ma. Florenda Traña Zafra
• Secretary Angeli Zafra Patindol
• Auditor Janine Marie Alforque
• Board Members Anita Linamas Manlisik & Lea Linamas Coronel
In their heartfelt message, they said:
“Palihug ipa-abot kang Capt. Carl Weigel nga daku kaayo among pasalamat kay mahayag na gyud mi diri. Daghang salamat, Capt. Carl, sa imong kamaayo, kakugihan, kaabtik ug pagka maloloy-on kanamong mga Gun-obanon.”
After Purok Kangkong, another solar lamp (S/N 24052) was installed in Nangka Moeller, responding to the residents’ request led by Ma’am Josephine Aprovechado, who expressed similar gratitude for the assistance.
