It is with deep disappointment that we announce that Barangay Gun-obโs Men U21 Volleyball Team has been disqualified from the current tournament due to an alleged breach of the No Benching Policy.
Guided by our coach, every player was given the chance to participate in every set. This approach reflects our commitment to fairness, inclusiveness, and genuine sportsmanship, which are at the heart of our teamโs identity. For this reason, the decision to disqualify our team is both difficult to accept and genuinely regrettable.
Barangay Gun-ob has long been recognized for its strong presence in competitive sports, with athletes and coaches committed to excellence, integrity, and teamwork. Though we will no longer continue in this tournament, we remain immensely proud of our players and the way they represented our barangay with unity, discipline, and heart.
We are grateful to our supporters and the entire Brgy. Gun-ob community for their unwavering support. Despite this setback, we stay committed to developing our athletes and upholding the values of true sportsmanship.
