Throwing it back to this exact day in 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic — our first day of giving out packs of rice and canned goods to some puroks in Barangay Gun-ob, back when I was still the SK Chairman.
Even though it was tiring, the feeling of being able to help during a time of hardship was truly rewarding.
It may have been a simple act, but it came from a place of genuine service and care for the community.
